Graeme Stewart
Graeme grew up in Johannesburg with a love of animals. After school he did a three-year guiding course at Bhejane Nature Training where his passion grew stronger, along with his love for teaching and sharing it with others.
After Bhejane he had the opportunity to go to Kenya for a three-month internship, which he says opened his eyes to how incredible the world of guiding was. After returning from Kenya he worked in a few game reserves in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga, where his scope ranged from priority species monitoring to guiding and mentoring young guides – roles which allowed him to expand his knowledge while still living the mantra of “you learn something new every day”.
This has led him to his current role as a Field Guide at Singita – which he says is a dream job and where he hopes to offer guests the very best safari experience using his knowledge and passion.
