Chantelle Venter
Chantelle’s fascination with nature stems from her upbringing in South Africa’s Cape Winelands and studying horticulture in the Lowveld region.
Her bush career began as Assistant Camp Manager at the Timbavati Game Reserve in 1996, but her energetic character drove her from her desk into the field as she started leading walking safaris in Kruger National Park and then Botswana where she became a Professional Guide and Camp Manager. Her ability to inspire others gained her a position as a trainer in the Tuli block where many protégés from communities around the Okavango Delta graduated as guides after passing through her capable hands, learning to handle rifles and potentially dangerous encounters with wild animals.
Chantelle joined the team at Kruger as a Senior Guide in 2015 where her experience makes her a knowledgeable and on-the-ball companion on walking safaris as she shares her keen interest in birding and photography.
