Bernard Stiglingh

Bernard has been a guide in the Kruger National Park for the last decade, having spent time with private luxury safari companies in the Orpen, N'wanetsi and Pafuri sections. He grew up in the suburbs of Pretoria and spent all the time he could getting to see the wild areas of South Africa, always knowing that he was going to live in the wilderness one day. After training locally and in Botswana to become a guide, he started his career in the Klaserie Private Game Reserve. To him guiding is a tailor-made job, combining his love and passion for people with the wilderness. His main interests are anthropology, botany, local iron age archaeology, history and birding and he is also very passionate about exploring the wild on foot.
