Opening in May 2024, Singita Milele, an exclusive-use villa situated high on the slopes on Sasakwa Hill in the heart of the Serengeti, is the latest addition to Singita’s portfolio of remarkable African properties. The consistent and enduring shift in travel over the last few years to privacy has seen guests increasingly seek out space and personal service. And while Singita’s approach has always been to create one-of-a-kind experiences across our portfolio, the demand for exclusive-use properties has prompted the creation of this exciting new offering – which will form part of the Singita Private Villa Collection.

Offering privacy, scenery, and a front-row seat to the Great Migration, this astounding destination is situated within the 350,000 acres of pristine wilderness that make up Singita Grumeti in northern Tanzania.

Meaning ‘forever’ in Swahili, Milele’s name perfectly encapsulates and celebrates its remarkable setting – and the vast expanses of unspoilt savanna that surround this sophisticated and luxurious, yet endlessly comfortable villa.

The villa's spacious and versatile configuration accommodates up to 10 guests in five individually designed suites inspired by the region’s most iconic species. Each with a unique identity and energy, each suite includes a large terrace and deck, dressing rooms, and panoramic views of the landscape below, while three of the suites have private jacuzzis.

Intentionally designed to minimise the barriers between guests and nature – visually, acoustically and physically – all of the suites have features like outdoor showers and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto expansive decks, which facilitate constant engagement with the wilderness beyond. 

The superlative property celebrates Africa’s creative energy and wildlife through locally sourced design and craftsmanship and setting-inspired spaces. The Milele experience is curated to offer guests the epitome of spacious Serengeti luxury underpinned by a natural palette and soothing tones and textures.

Weaving a contemporary take on the iconic motifs of African safari into every aspect of the villa’s design, Milele’s five individually designed suites draw inspiration from the region's wildlife and scenery. Named for the collective nouns for giraffe, lion, cheetah, zebra and rhino (Journey, Pride, Coalition, Dazzle and Crash) each offers an immersive visual and sensory experience.

The master suite, Journey, as well as the Pride and Coalition Suites are located in the main villa; while the Dazzle and Crash Suites are set alongside, connected by wooden walkways. Comprising a two-bedroom family suite, Pride and Coalition are ideal for adults with children.
