Dating back generations and crossing borders as it keeps unfolding, the story of Singita began on the banks of the Sand River in the Sabi Sand in South Africa three decades ago. Here, in a wilderness that was previously completely inaccessible, except to Singita’s environmental team and the owner’s family, our first lodge raised the bar on immersive safari escapes when it was built.

Four spacious family suites are on offer, with generous living spaces and features for all seasons – from welcoming dining and verandah areas to stone fireplaces, private viewing decks and heated plunge pools.

The private-use Ebony Villa comprises two family suites and sleeps eight. This idyllic retreat is the ideal space in which to celebrate connections with loved ones. It also offers a full staff complement, dedicated game vehicle and Field Guide, and its own private boma for memorable dinners under starlit skies.

Offering a continuous sense of seamlessness and ease, family mealtimes at Ebony are part of this lodge’s intimate appeal. Fresh and flavourful dishes form the foundation of each relaxed feast, and the emphasis is on wholehearted togetherness.
