Braya was born in the 15th of October 1983 in Mugumu town-Serengeti District which is adjacent to the Singita Grumeti and Serengeti National Park. He attended primary school at Mugumu-Serengeti and Secondary & High school in Dar es Salaam. Braya enrolled to the College of African Wildlife Management-MWEKA in Kilimanjaro Tanzania where he successfully graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Tourism. Braya started his Guiding at Singita Grumeti in 2009. In 2015 Braya moved to Singita Explore as Explore Camp Manager & Guide. Braya loves guiding and has a great passion for Wildlife Conservation and communities.
