From the tender age of four, Benjamin’s infatuation with the bush was sparked by family holidays in wilderness areas in southern and eastern parts of Africa.

He studied conservation at university, but rather than sitting behind a computer screen or in a lecture room, he spent his vacations helping out at various nature reserves or parks. In January 2012 he took an eco-training course and accepted a position at Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa – where he had worked at as a student. Park area that he fell in love with as a little boy. As an avid birder, he always has his camera and binoculars ready for a wander in the wilderness.
