Nick du Plessis

Nick was born in South Africa, doubly fortunate to have two sets of grandparents working for National Parks and passionate about conservation. This afforded him the luxury of spending every long weekend and school holiday in the bush, a proximity which inevitably led him to choose nature as his study direction and career.

He was motivated to travel throughout Southern Africa where he guided at a number of top lodges in the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Reserves and which allowed him to see incredibly spectacular scenes. He is fond of taking guests on walking tours, ever ready with a lens to capture a silhouette against the rising sun, a fleeting movement in the golden hour or the hint of an outline at dusk – images he posts to share with his loyal followers and former guests. When he’s free, Nick really enjoys a game of golf.
