Mike Mpuche

With his deep-seated passion for wildlife and inherent talent and love for storytelling,
Mike was born for a career in guiding. With more than two decades of experience in the tourism industry – as a guide and in various roles within hospitality management – he is ideally suited for Singita Pamushana’s team of Field Guides. When it comes to facilitating life changing encounters in the bush, he says that he’s “a one-stop shop” – which is perfectly aligned with Singita’s immersive guest experience and tailormade safaris.

Over the years, he’s conducted many tours and safaris across Southern Africa, and his work has taken him to some of the most pristine locations in Botswana, Zambia and South Africa. The development and training of the next generation of aspiring young guides is a topic that's very close to Mike’s heart and he’s been involved in numerous mentorship programmes throughout his career.
