Joffers McCormick
Joffers was destined to live in nature – he was born on and grew up on a game farm in Zimbabwe.
He soon realized that he could not blot out the love of the bush in his blood – his fate was sealed to having creatures and critters as close companions. Fortunately, he had always felt a deep connection with conservation and the preservation of wilderness areas, its indigenous vegetation and endemic animals.
Joffers qualified as a guide at a young age which allowed him to work in various and varied environments, from the Kalahari and Botswana to Singita Kruger National Park and now at Singita Sabi Sand. Whenever he walks with guests in the veld and they see or smell flowers, lion or elephant, it stirs deep feelings which add to his sense of wonder at his incredible privilege of living in and sharing this spectacular and breathtaking beauty with others.
