It was during his tertiary education that he focused on the subjects - wildlife, guiding and firearm proficiency - that would lead him to his current profession. He then attended further workshops and completed courses in Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa to further his career.
With more than 10 years of experience working across various protected areas in Tanzania – from Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha National Park, Randileni, Lake Burunge Wildlife Management Area and Serengeti National Park, he has now found himself in the Grumeti Reserve, as part of the Singita family.
Fueled by a passion for nature, which he says he couldn’t live without, Baraka strives towards new goals and proudly demonstrates his respect for nature daily. It’s through this passion that he gets to share his experiences and knowledge with others, and work as part a team.
