Andrew Kavenga

Born in Arusha, Tanzania, Andrew Robert Kavenga grew up in a village surrounded by the bush and encountering wildlife on a daily basis. This ignited a childhood passion which grew by the time he was in high school into a curiosity about guiding and a desire to acquire knowledge and skills, which he then pursued at wildlife college. With good guiding experience now under his belt, Andrew enthralls guests with his sighting interpretation skills and passion for the bush, but it’s in this favourite destination, the Serengeti – surrounded by the exceptional landscape, the mega herds of the Great Migration and the prolific big cats - that he’s at his happiest.

Always aiming to further his knowledge and better himself, Andrew learnt to speak both Spanish and English – an aptitude that equips him beautifully to engage with guests and serve as an engaging host.
