Singita Launches Singita Private: Six Unique Villas Under One Umbrella
Singita has launched Singita Private with the introduction of two new exclusive packages in Southern and East Africa. Singita Private is a collection of six exclusive-use African properties under one umbrella. Each of the six private properties offer a secluded safari experience far from the bustle of the main property in the concession, providing guests with their own private base from which they can explore their own slice of Africa. In line with Singita’s ethos as a conservation company, each Singita Castleton booking will contribute 1% toward the construction of a new environmental education centre at Singita Sabi Sand.
Each property is designed with spacious interiors to comfortably accommodate larger groups, and exteriors that branch out into the wild surrounds, offering unobstructed views of unspoiled Africa. Every property additionally comes with its own staff, including a dedicated host, who is ready to help guests create their own personalized safari experience. This is especially essential for multi-generational groups, where older and younger travelers often have different ideas of how to spend their vacation. Guests at Singita properties will be able to experience the untouched wilderness in their own African home away from home, secluded from the distraction of others, yet in an area spacious enough for a family.
The first new Singita Private experience includes three nights at Singita Explore and two nights at Serengeti House exploring 350,000 acres of private reserve in Tanzania. At both properties guests are in complete control with a camp host, chef, camp staff and a private guide at their disposal, allowing them to arrange activities on a whim. Singita Explore is a private-use tented camp on the plains of the Serengeti, that is pitched in different locations during the year to provide optimal game viewing. Singita Serengeti House can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests with a house comprised of 4 suites, and also features a large swimming pool and its own private tennis court. Few places are as impressive as Singita Grumeti in Tanzania, and with this package, family travelers are able to experience it in its entirety, in complete privacy. The price for the new Singita Private package in Tanzania is $5,577.50 per person sharing, based on 8 guests.
The second new Singita Private experience combines Singita Lebombo Villa in South Africa and Pamushana Villa in Zimbabwe. The package includes four nights at Singita Lebombo Villa in South Africa’s Kruger National Park and four nights at Pamushana Villa in Zimbabwe, including scheduled flights on Federal Air. The newly reimagined Singita Lebombo offers picturesque views of the N’wanetsi River with an expansive wooden deck that floats above the trees and leads back inside to four luxurious suites. In addition to the lodge’s main pool, guests have access to three private pools to while away the hot days. Singita Pamushana Lodge in Zimbabwe overlooks a lake in the remote reaches of the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve. Nestled in this virtually untouched landscape, the 5-bedroom Pamushana Villa, dressed in bold, royal African prints, gives guests access to their own private infinity pool and panoramic views of the 130,000 acre reserve and towering trees. The price for the new Singita Private package in Southern Africa starts at approx. $13,316 per person sharing, based on 6 guests.
Other properties included in Singita Private are Singita Castleton and Ebony Villa, both located in South Africa. Guests at Singita Castleton will have access to their own private Land Rover with experienced field guide and tracker, a house manager and housekeeper, as well as a private chef to prepare an array of mouth-watering dishes in the large farm-style kitchen. At Singita Ebony Villa, guests will find themselves tucked away amongst enormous trees along the banks of the Sand River in Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, South Africa. This villa is comprised of two family suites, which are connected by a private lounge, swimming pool and deck area; enough room for six adults. Guests will have access to a private guide and vehicle, chef, host and banakeli (personal waiter) for a truly personalized experience.
