Going on one of Singita Pamushana’s water safaris provides some of the best birding to be found anywhere in Africa. Year round we see and hear African fish eagles (Haliaeetus vocifer), and this month provided a glimpse of African darter (Anhinga rufa) chicks in their nest, which is built in a dead tree in the middle of the Malilangwe Dam.
