We are searching for a marketing manager to join our team in Cape Town, who will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for the entire Singita group with the view to ensuring that the Singita brand is communicated internally within the organisation and also externally to the public while driving the achievement of Singita’s revenue goals and resulting in continued growth.
The Amukeri (from Ma Amukeri) is the Shangaan word for ‘the one who welcomes you and takes care of your needs’, provides a personalized, professional concierge and reception service to Singita guests. This position is based in the Lodge and involves the efficient running of the front of house administration and reception function of the lodge.
We are searching for an assistant lodge manager to assist in managing the lodge and, by doing so, creating a profound guest experience, which is in line with the service, vision and creative concepts of the lodge.
The purpose of the Chef Skills Developer is to train and develop trainee chefs at the Singita School of Cooking in all sections of the kitchen. To supervise trainee chefs. And to manage the staff canteens
A field guide provides a core service to the lodge/s, which is in effect the department’s “customer”. The field guides are fully responsible for conducting guided safari experiences at Singita that are unique, personalized, professional and enjoyable, and are accountable to the Head Ranger for the delivery of such experiences to the guests.
The main purpose of the Procurement Officer is to effectively manage the requests from customers (allocated lodges and other). Effective management would constitute an efficient and cost effective procurement process providing the best level of service and product to all customers.
We are searching for a head guide to provide a service to the lodge/s, which is in effect the department’s “customer”. The head guide is fully responsible for managing the guiding department and ensuring that the guided safari experiences at Singita are unique, personalized, professional and enjoyable, and is accountable to the General Manager for these.
The junior sous chef provides a service to the kitchen department. The sous chef is fully responsible for the management of the kitchen under the head chef and senior sous chef and assumes complete responsibility for the kitchen in their absence. The main purpose of the junior sous chef is to ensure that the kitchen is supervised and that quality food is produced in a hygienic environment, in line with the required Singita Standards.
We are searching for a sous chef to join our team at Sabi Sand. The position is based in the lodge kitchen and is responsible for the management of the kitchen and taking responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef.
The lodge anchor position is based at Boulders Lodge, Singita Sabi Sand.
The main duties include:
• Coordination of service, wine tastings, functions etc
• Manage staff in terms of discipline and service
• Hosting as well as check ins and outs
The HR Strategy and Operations Manager will be considered a senior level consultant within the organization. As such, the HR Strategy and Operations Manager will provide functional, technical or process leadership.
The pastry chef is fully responsible for the preparation of pastry items to set standards and carry out assigned kitchen duties in line with the Singita Standard and is accountable to the Head Chef for these.

“I started working at Singita Lebombo in September 2010. During this time I was nominated for employee of the month numerous times, and won it twice. In 2014 I was voted as the “employee that goes the extra mile”. I worked as Assistant Head Driver for almost three years, while also working as the Airwing. I really enjoyed meeting the guests and seeing them off before they headed home. Most weeks I did the banking trip to Skukuza and was proud of the trust that accompanied this trip, as it included financial responsibility as well as dropping off/collecting guests at Skukuza airport. I also filled in for the Head Driver when he was on leave by doing the shopping trip to Nelspruit.
Since 2010 I have really enjoyed my job and working with everyone at Singita Lebombo. It was a sad day when John Mangane decided to retire, but it left some opportunity for me to grow within my department. I applied for the Head Driver position and was very happy to know that I was successful.

“After culinary school I landed a six month contract at Singita Lebombo and Sweni to cover for Jane, a chef from the local community, who was going on maternity leave. Soon after my arrival on the property it became evident that Singita is more than just a Luxury Safari Lodge. It later became apparent that six months was not long enough for me!
