If you are after remote luxury for your safari, this is it. The timing of your safari is important and our three-day stay in late July was critical to our enjoyment. During the migration, we saw a ridiculous amount and variety of animals, but we can’t help but acknowledge that the property would still have been wonderful during the other times of the year. The staff and management are outrageously accommodating and of the finest caliber, anticipating our every need and ahead of us every step of the way. The managers were tracking shipping for us and organizing an impromptu wine tasting at our request despite the absence of the camp sommelier, and our game driver standing out for his friendly professionalism and knowledge. The massage on our deck overlooking the wildebeest herds massing on the other side of the river for their impending crossing was surreal and fantastic. Of the five luxury properties we enjoyed on this two-week holiday, this was the one that stood out and the one we would be most likely to return to.
