Field Guide
Grumeti
Jeremiah Morris
Jeremiah was born into the Chagga tribe in 1979 and he grew up on the slopes of the highest mountain in Africa, the famous Mount Kilimanjaro.
He studied Hotel Management at college and worked at several hotels before joining Singita as a waiter in 2007 where his interest in field guiding and conservation was noticed and nurtured. In 2012 he attended a course in animal behavior and wildlife management at Singita Grumeti Fund which he completed with flying colors to become a field guide. Not only is Jeremiah very grateful for the opportunity he was given, he’s also very proud of his accomplishments and he is putting forth every effort to make sure Singita’s 100 year purpose to preserve and protect the African wilderness for future generations, comes true to benefit man and wild beast.
