Singita Pamushana

November 2012 - Pamushana, Zimbabwe

November – the month when the big and hairy become even hairier. I am told that Mo Bros sprout moustaches of all shapes and sizes to become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November, and through their actions and words raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

Of course the big and hairy of Singita Pamushana were not to be outdone this month… A black rhino (an animal so in need of world awareness for protection) posed for a Movember photograph of its own styling… Two oxpecker birds poked their heads inside its nostrils and as they stuck out above the rhino’s pointy top lip they gave him something of a horseshoe moustache style. Thankfully the mo only lasted a moment and not a whole month!
