For the past years Singita has been observing how travellers have evolved. We are recognizing the ever-increasing demand from discerning travellers for private travel, the utmost exclusivity of a destination, and the ability to access nature in a close and meaningful manner.
With this in mind, Singita is launching a transformational new travel concept – Singita Explore, a return to the very essence of safari. This exclusive mobile camp is designed for minimal environmental impact, treading lightly on 340,000 acres of private reserve, offering en-suite canvas hideaways that restore true adventure to days in the wilderness.
The camp will be sold on an exclusive use basis only, available year round, and this back-to-basics mobile camp only operates within Singita Grumeti Reserves. Comprising 6 tents and 2 mess tents the camp will be placed in remote parts of the reserve, guaranteeing closeness to wildlife and untouched landscapes, and is hosted by a private guide, camp host, chef and camp staff.
Singita launches Singita Explore 1 June 2011. For information about the introductory promotional offer, contact our Reservations department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Now that the bustle of the holidays has passed, it is time to start planning summer family vacations. What better way to make memories together as a family and discover a unique destination, than a safari in Africa.
When it is summer in the northern hemisphere, countries in Africa are experiencing cool but mild winters which provide excellent opportunities for game viewing and exploration.
Offering four uniquely different locations, Singita can provide a family safari that will meet the needs of grandparents, parents and children of all ages. Hot air balloon in Tanzania while viewing the migration – and reserve the four bedroom private retreat at Singita Sasakwa with a heated infinity plunge pool and each room with en-suite bathroom. This retreat also contains a two bedroom nanny flat for extra convenience. Or plan a trip to Zimbabwe to stay at Singita Pamushana – only six suites and a private retreat tucked cosily into a rocky outcrop overlooking a breathtaking dam and 105 000 acres of private wilderness. Spend the days on game drives, viewing ancient rock art sites; enjoy tiger fishing on the dam and take canoe trips at sunset.
If South Africa is the destination of choice, Singita not only offers family suites at Ebony Lodge and Boulders Lodge but also Singita Castleton Camp provides an excellent option for big family gatherings.
