Launching a New Sales Representation Model
Since its inception in 1993, with the opening of Singita Ebony Lodge in the Sabi Sand, Singita has steadily increased its portfolio to include 10 individual experiences. This portfolio will increase to 12 with the addition of Serengeti House at Singita Grumeti Reserves and Singita Mara River Tented Camp in the Lamai, later this year. As the Singita portfolio has expanded, so the need for a dedicated sales and marketing resource has become imperative.
Ellerman House is a luxury hotel located in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, and consists of 11 bedrooms and a 5 bedroom Villa. Ellerman House & Villa are perfectly matched to the Singita client, as they too consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience, offer a unique and rare location, and are small and intimate in size. Together, Singita and Ellerman House provide an ideal booking itinerary for the discerning traveller visiting South Africa.
Building on the successful relationships that Singita enjoys with Classic Representation in Europe and JG Black Book in the USA and recognising the importance of strategic marketing partnerships, Singita and Ellerman House have agreed to join forces and work with Classic Representation and JG Black Book to develop a new, dedicated representation model.
Elle Reinink has been appointed in Europe, to join the Classic Representation team to provide dedicated sales and marketing support to Singita and Ellerman House. Katie Nodland will fulfil this role with JG Black Book in the USA.
This new model builds on the strength and presence of Classic Representation and JG Black Book in their respective markets whilst meeting the trade’s need for increased support from Singita and Ellerman House.
Katie Nodland will take up her new role effective 1 June 2012 and Elle Reinink will follow suit 1 August 2012.
